A dynamic and accomplished presence both on the orchestra podium and in the opera pit, Alfredo Sorichetti is highly acclaimed for his energy, enthusiasm and precision that he communicates with great spontaneity.<\/p>\n

As an internationally sought-after guest conductor, he has conducted in numerous renowned theatres and concert halls including the Vienna Musikverein Golden Hall, Salzburg Mozarteum, Klagenfurt Konzerthaus, Herkulessaal in der Residenz M\u00fcnchen, Prague Smetana Hall and Dvo\u0159\u00e1k Hall Rudolfinum, Liszt Academy of Budapest and the Arena Sferisterio of Macerata, Khachaturian Concert Hall of Yerevan, the Sala de Conciertos Felipe Villanueva of M\u00e9xico City, Daejeon Art Center in South Korea, the Bulgaria Big Hall of Sofia and the Kazakhstan Central Concert Hall of Astana, conducting prestigious orchestras such as the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire (ONPL) in France, the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra (ANPO), the North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, the Savaria Symphony Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of State of Mexico (OSEM) and the MAV Budapest Symphony Orchestra, Daejeon Symphony Orchestra in South Korea, the Kazakhstan National Symphony Orchestra in Astana, Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, Bohuslav Martin\u016f Philharmonic Orchestra, Hradek Kr\u00e1lov\u00e9 Philharmonic and Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra in Czech Republic, Szolnok Symphony Orchestra in Hungary and the Orquestra Sinf\u00f3nica de Cascais in Portugal.<\/p>\n

In Italy he regularly conducts several orchestras; as an Artistic and Music Director of the Orchestra Sinfonica dell’Adriatico he performed conducting at the Teatro Pergolesi of Jesi, Teatro Ventidio Basso of Ascoli Piceno, Teatro dell\u2019Aquila of Fermo and Teatro Maria Caniglia of Sulmona. Until 2015 he is regularly invited to conduct the ICO Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo; he has also conducted the ICO orchestras like Orchestra della Magna Grecia and Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana. Other performances include the Orchestra Internazionale d’Italia, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Matera e della Basilicata and the United Europe Chamber Orchestra (UECO) at the Sala Verdi in Milan and the Festival di Nuova Consonanza in Rome. He have been broadcast on the Italian national programmes of Rai 3 and Radio3 Suite.<\/p>\n

As an Artistic and Music Director of the Civitanova all\u2019Opera Season, he has conducted acclaimed productions of classics like La traviata<\/em>,\u00a0Tosca<\/em>,\u00a0Madama Butterfly<\/em>,\u00a0La Boh\u00e8me<\/em>,\u00a0Il barbiere di Siviglia<\/em>,\u00a0Cavalleria rusticana<\/em>,\u00a0Rigoletto,<\/em>\u00a0L\u2019elisir d\u2019amore, Don Giovanni, <\/em>Nabucco <\/em>and Cos\u00ec fan tutte<\/em>. His collaborations with worldwide renowned opera singers such as Raina Kabaivanska, In\u00e8s Salazar and Bruno de Simone.<\/p>\n

Sorichetti\u2019s achievements extend beyond the stage, with notable appointments like Guest Conductor of the State Opera Varna in the 2022-2024 seasons, where he has led three opera productions per year of Verdi\u2019s timeless operas like Nabucco, Ernani, <\/em>Rigoletto<\/em>,\u00a0La traviata<\/em>,\u00a0Il trovatore<\/em>\u00a0e\u00a0Un ballo in maschera<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Other apparitions include Evgheny Onegin<\/em> by Tchaikovsky at the Chelyabinsk Opera and Ballet Theatre in Russia: in Italy he conducted La boh\u00e8me<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Il barbiere di Siviglia<\/em> at the Teatro Marrucino of Chieti, Evgheny<\/em>,\u00a0La boh\u00e8me<\/em>\u00a0at the Teatro D\u2019Annunzio of Pescara,\u00a0Il barbiere di Siviglia<\/em>,\u00a0Il signor Bruschino<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Suor Angelica<\/em>\u00a0in different historical theatres and a selection of\u00a0Die Zauberfl\u00f6te<\/em>\u00a0at the Teatro dell\u2019Aquila of Fermo.<\/p>\n

The 2023 season saw him conduct once again in the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, at the Klagenfurt Konzerhaus and in Mexico L\u2019elisir d\u2019amore<\/em>\u00a0at the 20th Festival \u00d3pera en la Calle of Tijuana, receiving unanimously critical acclaim.<\/p>\n

In 2024 he has conducted with great acclaim the opera productions of L’elisir d’amore<\/em> and Don Giovanni<\/em> at the Stagione Lirica Civitanova all’Opera, Il trovatore<\/em>, Nabucco<\/em> and La traviata<\/em> at the State Opera Varna, La traviata<\/em> at the Karaganda Opera in Kazakistan as well as symphonic concerts with the Orchestra Sinfonica dell’Adriatico in the Italian historical theatres Ventidio Basso of Ascoli Piceno, Annibal Caro of Civitanova Marche and Teatro dell’Aquila of Fermo.<\/p>\n

In December 2025 he received great success conducting the stunning Fifth Symphony by Jean Sibelius with the Orquestra Sinf\u00f3nica de Cascais in Portugal.<\/p>\n

The year 2026 has begun conducting the New Year Concert at the Teatro Ventidio Basso of Ascoli Piceno, Italy; in February he has conducted a successful new opera production of Tosca<\/em> at the Teatro Rossini of Civitanova Marche receiving a great acclaim by the public and by the critics.<\/p>\n

Alfredo Sorichetti emerged onto the international stage in 2004, securing the Orchestra Favorite Award at the Fourth International Competition for Conductors Vakhtang Jordania. Since then, he has become a sought-after conductor, gracing over twenty countries across Europe, America, and Asia with his masterful performances.<\/p>\n

With a rich educational background, Sorichetti\u2019s artistry is finely honed, having studied at the Chigiana Music Academy of Siena, Italy, under esteemed conductor Myung-Whun Chung, the current Music Director of La Scala Theatre of Milan, the legendary conducting teacher Ilija Musin; in addition he has studied with Donato Renzetti, one of the most expert conductor of the Italian operatic repertoire, at the Pescara Music Academy. His passion for music extends to composition under Cesare Celsi, and piano under his mentor Giovanni Valentini at the Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro gratuating with maximum votes, and the famous pianist Sergio Fiorentino, reflecting a multifaceted talent dedicated to enriching the world of classical music.<\/p>\n
